The Borough of Roseland, originally known as the Centerville section of Livingston, covers 3.6 square miles at the southern boundaries, alongside Interstate 280. Roseland is a unique blend of residential areas and executive office parks. No history of Roseland is complete without mention of the Becker Dairy Farm, which encompassed nearly half of Roseland and operated from 1880 to 1964.
